OUR MANDATE & GOALS
We represent Kenya in global climate negotiations, champion a unified African voice for climate justice and equitable finance, and build international coalitions that position Kenya as a leading force in the global climate dialogue.
The Office is mandated to advise the President of Kenya on climate change policy, coordinate stakeholders across government, civil society, and the private sector, and mobilise resources to advance Kenya’s national climate agenda.
We drive climate-positive economic growth, scale high-integrity carbon markets, strengthen community resilience, and ensure transparent, inclusive climate solutions that benefit Kenya and the broader African continent.
